We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Planet Cheltenham and Cheltenham Borough Council to present the
FUTURE FIT HOMES CHELTENHAM event on 8th February 2025
St Philip & St James, Leckhampton.

This project aims to empower and enable Cheltenham’s residents to make decisions and investments in their homes, to futureproof and build resilience in the town and see the retrofit challenge as a collective endeavour rather than an individual one. As part of this project, we need people who are happy to share the results with their community, family, friends and neighbours, encouraging others to make their homes Future-Fit too!

More information about the event will follow soon.

We are incredibly proud to have hosted our third annual sustainability festival at St. Philip and St. James Church in Leckhampton in 2024. This year's theme, 'Take a Breath of Fresh Air,' reflects our commitment to environmental well-being. Our dedicated committee and volunteers have invested tremendous effort, resulting in over 30 participants showcasing inspiring and informative stands, talks, and workshops. The collaborative spirit of our community shines through, making each festival a vibrant celebration of sustainable living.

On Friday, April 12th, we hosted an engaging and insightful discussion.
In the lead-up to the General Election and amid deepening concerns around the climate crisis, this event offered a unique platform for community members to engage directly with key political figures and environmental experts. Our distinguished panel included:
-
Alex Chalk, MP (Conservative)
-
Max Wilkinson (Liberal Democrat)
-
Julie Farmer (Labour Party)
-
Tabi Joy (Green Party)
-
Eoin Mcquone, local businessman, Chief Carbon Coach, and Founder and Managing Director of Go Climate Positive
Discussions focused on urgent environmental and sustainability issues, addressing concerns from local to global levels and reflecting our community's priorities.
Linda Aspey chaired the panel.
